Ad Libitum

When you grow up playing the piano, you encounter many terms that are not in English. Allegretto. Dolcissimo. Vivace. Throughout the years, only one phrase has stayed in my heart: “Ad Libitum,” meaning “at liberty” or “with freedom.” To me, that is what art is all about.

With every new photo, composition, or painting, I hope to capture the world as I see and feel it, without worrying about conventions and without restraint.  Ad Libitum ~
